Camp can be tricky for kids on the Autism Spectrum
Talisman is a camp created to serve and support kids on the autism spectrum. We have had over four decades of success as a North Carolina Camp for children with Autism.
Looking for something fun for your child with autism to do over the summer in North Carolina? Camp is a fun option for any child, however, if your child has autism it may be difficult to find a camp that will accommodate for their social and behavioral quirks. Talisman Programs is a North Carolina camp specifically designed to help children with autism and ADHD have an enriching, fun summer.

Why choose Talisman over another North Carolina summer camp for children with autism?
- Friendly, experienced staff: The owners of our program have decades of experience in running and working at camps and schools for children with ASD, ADHD, and other learning disorders. Every member of our staff truly cares about each and every one of our campers.
- Structured, nurturing environment: Our camp is specifically created to improve your child’s overall social skills, boost self-confidence, and build a better sense of self.
- Fun adventure activities: Children go to summer camp to have fun, and here at Talisman we have plenty of fun! Depending on the program your child is placed in, they will take part in activities like Quidditch, Slip and Slide, Archery, and Canoeing.
- Location, location, location: We are located in the shadows of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains which provide the opportunity for tons of off-campus adventures. In the past, campers have taken part in activities like hiking, ziplining, horseback riding, tubing, and kayaking.
