Getting Ready for Camp
There is a lot to do as you prepare for camp! Here are resources to help you:
Our Parent Handbook is packed with useful information you will need about opening and closing days, homesickness, food policies, laundry, schedules and more. Feel free to download or print it and use as a reference.

MEDICATION PACKAGING
Get signed up to have your child’s medications (prescription and over-the-counter) packaged for easy and mistake-free administration by our staff. We require the use of Pack My Rx as a safety measure for all of our campers. Pack My Rx packages medications in individual packets by time of administration, each printed with the camper’s name, date of birth, date and time to give meds and dosage, pill number and pill description.
As in previous summers, gel caps and gummies are not allowed (they tend to melt). Unlike previous summers, there will NOT be the option to pack medication at camp. All medication needs to arrive prepackaged in blister packs that correspond to our four medication times. While Pack My Rx takes most insurances, please reach out to natalie@talismancamps.com to discuss options. We strongly discourage medication changes within 30 days prior to camp.
