Every Child Is Different.
So Is Every Talisman Program.

Talisman is a summer camp for autism and ADHD — and for every learning difference in between. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all programs. Below you'll find each diagnosis profile we serve, the specific challenges we address, and the programs best matched to your child.

Diagnosis Profile

Autism Spectrum

Ages 6–22

Who This Is For

Children and young adults on the autism spectrum who can participate in group activities with structure and guidance. This includes individuals formerly diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (now Autism Level 1) as well as those with higher support needs who thrive in predictable, peer-matched environments.

Our neurodivergent kids summer camp is built around the social, sensory, and communication needs that come with autism — not as limitations to work around, but as a starting point for real growth.

ADHD

Ages 6–22

Who This Is For

Energetic, creative children and young adults who need support with focus, impulse control, and navigating high-stimulus environments. Kids with ADHD often thrive at Talisman because camp is active by design — there's no sitting still, no long lectures, and no expectation of neurotypical attention spans.

Our summer camp for autism and ADHD gives these campers predictable structure, built-in movement, and staff who understand that impulsivity and inattention are neurological — not behavioral problems.

Learning Differences

Ages 6–22

Who This Is For

Children who carry more than one diagnosis — or whose profile doesn't fit neatly into a single box. This includes autism + ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety disorders, sensory processing differences, and social communication challenges that overlap in complex ways.

Talisman's staff includes professionals trained in special education and psychology. Our small staff-to-camper ratios and flexible activity pacing make it possible to support even the most complex profiles — without singling anyone out.

Why It Works

What Makes Talisman Different
for Every Profile

Whether your child has one diagnosis or five, these are the things that make Talisman work when other camps don't.

Everyone Here Is Neurodivergent

Your child isn't the only one who's different — everyone at Talisman is. That single fact changes everything about how kids connect, communicate, and feel about themselves.

Peer-Matched Groups

Campers are grouped by age, developmental stage, and support needs — not just birthday. No child is placed in a group where they'll struggle to keep up or be held back.

Trained, Not Just Caring

Every Talisman staff member is professionally trained in autism, ADHD, and learning differences — not just "good with kids." There's a meaningful difference, and families feel it immediately.

Structure That Reduces Anxiety

Predictable daily routines, visual schedules, and consistent staff create the structure and comfort neurodivergent kids need to take risks, try new things, and actually enjoy camp.

Skills That Transfer Home

Social communication, conflict resolution, independence skills — they're practiced in real camp moments, not worksheets. What kids learn at Talisman follows them home.

40+ Years of Experience

Talisman has been running specialized programs for neurodivergent youth since 1980. There's almost no diagnosis, combination, or support level we haven't seen and served well.
