The Communication at Our Camp: How We Communicate

Communication is very important at our camp. Not only do we encourage campers to socialize and communicate with other campers of their age, but we also encourage parents to communicate with their children outside the camp. Parents are not allowed to enter the camp or to call campers every day. Exceptions are made in an emergency only.

InsightWe’ve created a communication system that keeps campers and parents in active communications. Here is how we communicate at our specialized Autism camp Kentucky teens prefer.

  • Phone Calls – We update the parents and other family members via phone at least once a week with specific information about the campers.
  • E-Mails – We send e-mails once a week with more general information about the games, activities, and events we organize at the camp.
  • Online Photo Gallery – The online photo gallery is updated daily during the camp season.
  • Letter-Writing – We encourage campers of all age to write letters at least once a week.
  • Contact Service – You can contact us for additional questions or concerns 24/7. We are at your service.
